What we fund

Real support for the things that hold a community together.

We make grants for charitable and non-commercial purposes that benefit the towns where our gaming venues operate.

Amateur Sport

Uniforms, gear, training costs and travel for cricket, kabaddi, football and grassroots clubs.

Youth & Education

Backing schools, scholarships, childcare and programmes that build young character.

Welfare & Kaumātua

Welfare support, public health initiatives and care for the elderly, including ten ambulance donations to Hato Hone St John across the North Island.

Arts & Culture

Non-profit cultural and arts festivals, including music festivals that celebrate every culture.

Public Amenities

Footpaths, cycleways, public car parks and facilities the whole community shares.

New Migrant Support

Counselling, mediation and social networks that help new arrivals settle into NZ life.

How it works

Applying for a grant is straightforward.

Check you're eligible

You must be a non-profit body and the grant must be for a specific, future purpose. We can't fund things already paid for.

Apply online

Submit through our online application system before the 10th of the month. Paper applications are no longer accepted.

We review & respond

The Trustees consider applications on the last Sunday of each month, in line with our authorised purpose.
