All grant applications are submitted online through our grant management system. Applications close on the 10th of each month with decisions made on the last Sunday of each month.
To be considered for a grant your organisation must meet all of the following requirements.
Your organisation must be a registered non-profit body. Commercial or for-profit entities are not eligible.
Your application must fit within the We Care Authorised Purpose. Check the categories before applying.
Grants must be applied to specific future costs. We cannot fund anything that has already been paid for.
Your application must be submitted on the correct form and filled out fully. Incomplete applications will be returned.
Read the Authorised Purpose carefully to make sure your organisation and project qualify.
Complete the application form online through our grant management system before the 10th of the month.
The We Care board meets on the last Sunday of each month to review and decide on all applications.
You will receive an outcome letter advising whether your application was approved or declined.
If approved, use the grant for its stated purpose and submit your audit documents within 3 months.
This document is essential and must be on your organisation's letterhead. It must accompany every grant application.
